Draft for legal review. This text describes how the service works today but hasn’t been approved by a lawyer. Last updated 15 October 2026.

Unsubscribe and sending policy

The rules every email we send on a customer's behalf must follow.

Who gets contacted

Only business contacts in a role connected to commercial cleaning decisions, in the area and sectors the customer chose. We don't use purchased lists, and we don't contact anyone on the customer's skip list or our global opt-out list.

What every email contains

A true sender name and subject. A clear statement of who it is sent on behalf of. A valid postal address for the sender. A one-click unsubscribe link and unsubscribe headers (RFC 8058).

Opting out

One click on the unsubscribe link, or replying "unsubscribe", stops all emails to that address. We act on it immediately, not after the legal maximum of ten business days, and never re-add the address.

Review and limits

Each customer chooses whether a person checks every outgoing email, only the uncertain ones, or none. New mailboxes warm up gradually. If complaints or bounces rise, sending slows or stops.

Channels

Email only. We don't send text messages or cold-call.

Reporting a problem

If you got an email from us you didn't want, or think a rule here was broken, write to finlay@getsweepmeetings.com. We reply within one working day.

[LEGAL REVIEW: align with CAN-SPAM, PECR and any state laws; confirm complaint-handling commitments.]
